the NY Times ran the story on front page the other day about the weapons stash missing in Iraq. They said, the weapons that were found after US troops went into Iraq and were under US Army control. They also said that this huge stash of weapons were lost by the US. That this huge stash of weapons vanished under US control and trashed the Bush admin for blundering this one.
Well it turns out that the weapons stash was not under US control. This weapons stash was ID by the UN Weapons Inspectors prior to the US invasion. This weapons stash was missing when US troops arrived to secure the location they were stored at. The US had nothing to do with this missing inventory of weapons. Saddam moved them prior to the US invasion.
THe sad thing, the real story is out on this and the NY Times has not yet run a story to correct there errors. If they do, likely it will be hidden somewere on page 52.
The NY Times is doing everything they can, including lies to help Kerry.
But the DEM's just keep on believing.
