Leupold VX-III 8.5-25x50mm

Anyone using the Leupold VX-III 8.5-25x50mm Long Range Target in metallic silhouette.   I've heard it focusses down to the required 40 metres.

I use the Leupold VX-III 6.5-20x50mm LR for silhouette, with the target dot reticle.  It sits on top of my hunter gun, and I love it. It does focus down to the 40 meters, with no problem.
 My only problem with it, is that it doesn't focus down to 50ft for the indoor league. If I had the dough, I would buy a couple more of them.

just in case you aren't aware...  there is a 50' adapter for leupold scopes.  fixes that problem for about $45.

Thanks for the info Dave. The problem I have with this scope is that it has the 50mm bell, and none of these adapters will fit it. It appears that are only for 40mm.  I guess I have almost given up on finding one that has a 50mm fit.

Casey,  I use Weaver T-24's on my indoor guns. We shoot 28ft. and they don't focus down that far. I simply tape a Leupold 50 ft. adapter to my sunshade with electrical tape. Works for me.
