Anyone brown bear hunt this year?

If so, how did you do? Kill one? Got pictures to share? I didn't have the time to chase any this year, but was hoping that I would maybe see one while moose hunting, but no luck there. I'll be after them in the spring for sure.

Nope not me!  I moose hunted all Sept. up in Fairbanks.  Was not able to find one with the boat in the spring.

Maybe next year!

Heading back to New York Nov. 13th to hunt whitetails with my son though for 2 weeks with the bow.

Dave,

Good luck on bagging a whitetail in NY. I'd sure like to shoot one myself one day, but before I do that I have to kill a Sitka blacktail around here first. :wink:

I already have a good local area that holds a few brown bears (already seen a few this year as has my cousin), and big brownies at that! That's my first spot to go in the spring before hitting the Denali Hwy.

I'm just hoping I'll be able to bait in this coming spring. :(
