Has anyone mounted one of the new battery powered Holo sights on their handi? I was lookin at some inexpensive "China"   Holo sights at the Tulsa gun show...30 bucks...they looked pretty nice....I think the brand was ncstar. There was another model that had 4 different types of dots for 80 bucks.....anyone have any experence with these new types of targeting devices?

Well...there seems to be alot of guys on here that want a fast acquisition sight for hunting in thick brush and etc. These sights have half a dozen or more brightness settings (some along with different "crosshair/dots". Being a HOLO sight it doesn't matter where you have your cheek weld...you stick the 'Dot" on the target and pull the trigger. it doesn't matter where the dot appears in the sight picture...your on... or where it's mounted( eye relief) Pretty cool. Was hopping some on here had mounted one of these on their handis. I have an aimpoint on an AR. It's quick and all but the HOLO sight s are much better , lighter and less bulky... I think Bushnel makes a high end unit called an eotec.
