Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I didn't find a better one.  Any preferences on Chronographs?  I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for one (Oehler) but I hate things that break easily. :x

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I had a refurbished Chrony, but got an intolerable amount of errors.  I gave that one to a friend and bought a CED  millenium with IR illuminators.  I have had only one error with it and I think that was operator induced.  That said, it was pricey.. over $200 with the optional IR panels if I remember correctly.

I have shot my PACT 3 times and can tell you that PACT stands behind their products with reasonably priced replacement parts.  It's also a good chronograph. I've only had a few quirks in unusual light when the sun is very low. Other than that, it's a product I truly depend on and it works for me. I recommend PACT.

I've had excellent results with my Procrono. At $120 it works great. My buddy drilled his and sent it back to be rebuilt and they only charged him $16 and he put a .38 thru end to end. I supose we'd all like an Ohler 43 PBL, but when I save up that much money I'd rather buy another gun. LOL!

I have three Chronys (two old F-1's and a Gamma Master) and have never had any complaints about any of them.

As in Guns, Dies, and bullets...
Get the best you can afford. (as long as you'll use it).
I've used the Oehler, CED and Pact both are fine no complaints, but the Oehler is the best and it tops all of them.
