Truckie, I tried the same thing a few days ago.  My post is down about the middle of the page.

I was considering the Optima Pro and the Traditions Pursuit Pro.  Couldn't decide between the two.  I handled both, and while the Optima feels pretty good, the Pursuit felt better.  I've decided to go with the Pursuit, but I think you'd be happy with the Optima also.

Good luck.

I hope you tried the trigger on the Pursuit. I have a Pursuit LT and the trigger was terrible as received. I pulled the trigger three times and my finger was so sore I had to stop. I tore the gun apart and did a trigger job two times and it is now shootable but not a target rifle.

BE CAREFUL ADJUSTING TRADITIONS TRIGGERS!!!  They sell the most unsafe triggers on the market.  I adjusted the one on my Lightning LD when I got it, tested it, and it seemed ok.  I got in the field and fired on a deer, then reloaded.  When I went to close the bolt the gun fired!  Fortunately it was pointed in a safe direction but it scared the hell out of me.  Turned out if the safety was ON when I closed the bolt, it would hold when I pushed if off until I pulled the trigger.  But if it was OFF when I tried to close the bolt it would fire.  I had to readjust it back nearer the heavier-than-crap factory weight to get safe again.
I have heard reports of guns that did this FROM THE FACTORY as well.

Trigger on the Pursuit is not adjustable. Have to do a stone or sandpaper polishing job.
