TC cheap shot sabots

I tried some tc cheapshot sabots I used 50cal 240gr with 80grs of 777. they shot well . do you think they will perform well on deer?

The following is a partial post from another forum about Cheap Shot sabots shot from an Encore 209x50 rifle on a 75 yard shot on a deer in Wisconsin:

"Bullet performance was very good, heart and lungs jelly, bullet went in on
the left front just before the shoulder and exit the right rear of the ribs,
no meat damage done, exit would was about the size was about 1 1/2."

I believe that's how Cecil of Precision Rifle/Bullet got his start producing pure lead bullets for good accuracy and expansion.  Thanks for the comments...Always wondered if they worked as good as or better than the expensive copper coated XTP's.
