Pardner Modifications
« on: November 01, 2004, 12:26:29 PM »
What are some of the modifications you have done to your pardner? I was wondering how you could install a sling stud on a snabble forenend, and how do you install one of those fiber optic beads on the barrel and remove the old one?

I dont see a good way to install a sling swivel stud on the schnable fore end. It seems ot me to defeat the purpose of the schnable with the stud in the way. A barrel band type swivel mount has been mentioned but I haven't persoaly seen a source yet. The bead just unscrews on you can get a slip on

Lil' Tom Started life as a NEF 12ga Turkey shot gun w/ an Xtra Full choke.... A few Modifications on my shoulders and he evolved to this...

http://www.graybeardoutdoors.com/phpbb2/album_pic.php?pic_id=114

A few more Mods and he now carries a full array ofChoke Tubes from IC to XXXtra Full Turkey chokes...Some custom, the others Hastings or Colonial Arms.... Next Mods will probably one of them Custom Stocks that Mac & MSP Ret were talkin' about... He likes to Digest 1.25 #6-3" Rem Nitro Mags for Turkey to Good Ol' Rem Sluggers for deer....Later, MTNMAN

Anybody else like to see NEF Put Choke Tubes in there 20's????
