Just put a Redman liner in a BSA Martini M1215 and chambered it for 17Mach2.  The rifle has a 4x Leupold centerfire rifle scope on it

Here are the three 5 shoot groups fired with CCI 17 gr ballistic tips at 25 yards. These are all five shot groups.

Hornady 17 gr.  V-Max, again 5 shoot groups

I did say first blood didn't I.  A black wasp landed on the target while I was was shooting

Good shooting! Gotta respect that. Wouldn'y pay to be a wasp around your target. I think I'm gonna have to break down and check out the 17Mach2.

It's amazing the size of a hole left in a target after going through something as fragile as a wasp. I once shot a butterfly at 100 meters that landed on my target with a 223 blitz king and it left a hefty 30 caliber hole. I was amazed.   KN

Double D;

Great Shooting!
Had a fly land on my target this spring, looks to be in the same area, near the bottom. Was shooting my T/C Benchmark in 22LR. at 50yds. Vaporized it. Ended up sending the target to CCI. They got a kick out of it. You might want to send yours in. You know... positive feedback for the workers who make the ammo. They will really appreaciate it.  :grin:
Again, Good Shooting.

And there was the long thread on Rimfire Handguns about Bee season being a bust.  Looks like new game was found!
