$160 is kinda spendy, especially when you consider the FFL transfer fee and shipping. I paid $129.99 for mine at BiMart.

i really have no use for the 17's  i'm working on a second rossi setup now....and got my hands full. i bought a used rossi and somebody chopped the stock up and now its my turn to try and fix it (it was a .44) . i got it sanded down and the old stain removed. getting ready to head off for some finer grit sand paper. (it had whittle marks on the stock where he reshaped it with a pocket knife (literaly) and deep gouges and scratches that the previous owner never got out before refinishing it)

I don't know about a .17 M2, but the HMR is an awsome round. I love my little Handi in .17 HMR  :D
