Ear Muff Advice Wanted
« on: November 23, 2004, 05:45:36 AM »
Hey gang,
I'm hoping to avoid ending up like my dad with pretty bad hearing loss from decades of shooting. I am looking to buy a pair of ear muffs, but don't really want the electronic type. Would some of you offer your suggestions/experience with the different brands out there? I see a lot of them, Leightner Leightning's, Peltor's, Radian's, to name a few.
I appreciate any advice,
Todd  :toast:

You can get them at any major tool or hardware company. Anything with a rate over 24DB is good. You can also get some that have attached safety glasses.

Hey Joe,
Thanks for the suggestion. I just ordered a pair of the Bilsom Leightning Muffs as they had the highest NRR I could find, 31 dB.
Thanks again, and Happy Thanksgiving!
