The NJ state supreme court ruled in favor of the state DEP commissioner's refusal to issue permits for a bear hunt sanctioned & approved by the fish & game council. Politics over-rules science once again when it comes to wildlife management issues. For more information, check the link provided below:

I don't know how anyone would want to live there.  Your DNR is telling everyone they can NOT hunt bear on public land.  I just hope the jean pool does not travel west.
