I stopped at a large gun shop & picked up one of the new S/W 500 4". It fits my hand like a glove. I own more handguns then I care to admit. I think there is going to be one more real soon in the house. I picked up the 8 1/2" one and it is quite barrel heavy. The 4" balance is real good. I have no trouble shooting my 454's or 375 JDJ so I know I am up to the task.

I had the S&W500 but I sold it when I got my BFR 500MAG. The BFR was more balanced and a different recoil all together. You may want to look at one of them also.

I wish I could say that, :-D but I have bought so many guns and after awhile, I either did not like the performance of the gun or it did not meet my needs.
