Was just browsing their site and it looks like they have the new ULTRA VARMINT .223 in stock (24in fluted barrel and new synthetic varmint stock). Just wanted to post a heads-up in case someone was looking to pick one up in .223 (I might be tempted if it was the .204 or .22/250 in that 24in. barrel)

Hey njanear That link shows that the .204 and 22-250 are also available in the 24 inch barrel. Just thought Id point that out and thanks for the heads up

Jimmy, the inventory doesn't show up in that link, those are just the built configurations...the actual inventory available is revealed using the Mega search below that for H&R>Long guns? calibers choice.....the 204 ruger and .22-250 are out of stock in the new Ultra.

As ususal Quick is right. Only the 223 is available at this time from sportssouth. Nada on the 204 and 22-250.

Thanks for clarifying that, Quickdtoo. Sorry, Jimmy - I forgot how confusing their info can be when they throw all of the calibers in the model on the page of the one model you are looking at.

I can't wait until my dealer can get ahold of .204 for me.

People at work have been wondering why I'm so grumpy lately. You'd think they'd be used to it by now :wink:

That 204 ought to be quite the varmint vaporizer.

No room in my world for one right now though. Too many 22s from mini to maxi.
