G2 Carbine Scope Mounts

Hello all.  I recently picked up a G2 Carbine 23" barrel and wanted to mount my Zeiss Conquest 3-9x50mm scope.  I was hoping someone could advise me with the proper base and ring combination to accommodate this 50mm scope?  I've looked at the TC Weaver style bases and the Warne rings, but I'm uncertain if the high rings along with the mentioned base would allow the 50mm objective bell to clear the barrel.  I've also looked at the Leupold dual dovetail base with the extra high dovetail rings, but again I'm still uncertain.  Any help would be much appreciated especially if you have a 50mm Conquest on your G2.

I use Warne Weaver style bases and Warne QD rings on all my Encore and Contender rifles so I can easily switch scopes between barrels.  For awhile, I had a Nightforce 5.5-22X scope with a 56 mm objective on an Encore so I know there are rings that will work for you.  All you have to do is go to the MidwayUSA websight and look up Warne rings.  One of the tabs will give you technical information on the rings including suggested heights for various diameter scope objectives; that's the information I've used for selecting rings and it has worked well for me.

I have a 50mm Burris on one of my Contender carbine barrels.  I think I have medium height Leupold rings.  Clears the barrel by about 1/8"

In my opinion Match Grade Machine scope bases are the absolute best bases available for the Contender/G2 barrels I used to have Weaver bases I now only use the MGM bases.
 
Scope rings I use = Warne quick detachable and Leupold QRW & PRW...

Thanks everyone.  I went with a Warne Maxima base and the Warne high rings and have approximately 1/8" barrel clearance.
