Seem a little high, you could get a new one set up with a decent scope for not much more than that.

Last time I checked you can buy a brand new Buff Classic right now on this site for $289.00 w/o sights, why pay more for a used Handi w/laminated stocks?....<><.... :?

I havent checked lately but am told you can go to Wal-Mart and for $189 plus tax and transfer fees you can order any Handi rifle (not the Buffalo Classic) that NEF/H&R makes, brand new. You said a 22" barrel so it sure wasnt the Buff.
