Low Wall Stocks
« on: November 19, 2004, 10:49:37 AM »
I have a low wall musket that was bastardized before it came into my possession.  Barrel cut but crowned professionally, and then restocked by a rank amateur in maple.  I would like to rebarrel this to .17 Hornady and restock in sporting/varmit style and cannot find any source for stocks for the low wall.

Any suggestions.

Contact Dave Crossno, at dibbleguns@juno.com
He builds nothing but stocks for single shot rifles, and he can set you up with a 90% inletted blank. Dave and his wife do great work, and are fun to deal with too. I've had him build a couple of stocks, and I wouldn't go anywhere else for a single shot stock!

Check out Treebone Carving.  They do several styles for the RRB.
