Seen a Remington 700 that looked a lot like that a few years back. My best friend was shooting a new box of factory loads in his 270. First shot BOOM. While he was in the hospital his wife took the remains of the gun to a gunsmith. The gunsmith said he had to be shooting handloads that were really overloaded. She new different. She sent one cartridge back to the ammo manufacture, then received a call from them. They immediately had a recall on that lot of ammo, and paid all his hospital bills. After Ed got out of the hospital a representative from the ammo company came to his house, paid a large settlement, in return for the rest of the box of ammo.
