finally decided on a new rifle
« on: November 17, 2004, 06:29:21 PM »
hey all
couldnt stand it so i ordered a sheridan blue streak .20 from pyrimid air
today   got the integrated scope mounts and the 500 pk sheridan pellets
too   i must say though that im a little dissapointed with some of these airgun places not to degrade any of them but i called compasseco to find out about the sheridans and how they compare to others in the price range and was told to go on the web and look we have too many to tell you about  kinda pissed me off but oh well  i then called airgunexpress
and the lady there knew nothing about the sheridans except the price and the c9 was on sale  couldnt tell me anything about the scope mounts or anything about the internal parts or if all the sheridans had the same parts just different calibers  i figured these places deal with these all the time they should know a little about them  guess i was wrong
airguns of arizona wouldnt even answer the phone i tried 8 times to call them no dice
so what i ended up with is a sheridan blue streak .20 with integrated scope mount and i also found a 30 mm bsa red dot scope for$30 so i decided to try it  i know nothing about red dot scopes but thought it would be a little easier and lighter than an airgun scope if i can get it sighted in
and make it accurate ill be happy
as for future purchases it seems pyramid really knows their stuff they were very informative and answered all my questions without any problem so ill probably use them again

go to mac 1 airguns!!!!!!
i have a steroid (tune)one in .20 cal and love it! the page tells the truth, as mine does shoot 900 fps. over a crony! they do good trigger work too.  i had my blue streak in stock form since 1978 or so. i had it worked over last year, and it,s awsome!!! i own a fwb 124 and an hw77. and they are great guns, but the steroid bluestreak is a real magnum air rifle and shoots much harder!!! and is still very accurate!
if you want more speed from a .20 cal you have to spend alot more money than on the steroid version from the start.
