Anyone have a 375 JDJ contender rifle barrel? Seems they would have a different load for the longer burn time. If you have one, how do you like it? Thanks- Tad

I don't have one yet but I am looking hard at one. I want one for my G2 carbine.

The load which gives best velocity performance in a short barrel usually gives the best in longer tubes, particularly since the "short" barrel is pretty darn long to begin with. The reverse is certainly true, and has been proven time and time again.

I asked this same question and got no response. I have the .375 JDJ in a 15" barreled contender and enjoy it. I also thought the ballistics would be very different in the rifle.

If anyone has the carbine version of the .375 JDJ and has done any work on different loads, please let us know the differences. :grin:
