1894 .357 ammo question
« on: November 28, 2004, 09:02:52 AM »
I'm going to buy either an 1894C or 1894 Cowboy in .357 for "fun gun". Both Marlin's website, and their catalog, show this note when they mention the use of .38 special ammo in these guns:

" *Consult Owner's Manual for details on ammunition use. "

That's the only gun in the 1894 series that shows this note. does anyone know what the owner's manual says about this topic? I don't want to buy the gun if I can't use .38 in it, and I can't look at the owner's manual until I buy the gun!

Thanks.
