H4350 in 280 Rem.
« on: December 09, 2004, 03:14:50 AM »
I load for three centerfire rifle cartridges(243, 280, and 30-06).  I am looking at possibly using one powder for all three.   "Dave in WV" is my Dad and he reports great accuracy with H4350 in his 243 and 30-06.   I will be shooting 140-150gr. bullets in 280 and was wondering if anyone has used this powder in 280.   I currently use IMR 4831 and it works great but like I said, I'm interested in using one powder in all three.  Thanks for your replies.

140's:
H-4350 From 42.9 grains to 55.1 grains
 Remington 9-1/2 Primer

145's:
H-4350 From 45.0 grains to 53.0 grains
 Remington 9-1/2 Primer

150's:
H-4350 From 42.3 grains to 55.7 grains
 Remington 9-1/2 Primer

(However, I found RL-25 to be a better choice.)
