i do this all the time with all kinds of guns especially flintlocks that need lots of work so i think i can help you. if you have a ribbed gun this is easy.. use a strip of 3/4 inch masking tape rolled into a 1 /8 inch roll and stick it to the rib and move it to find the perfect place to put a second bead in the rib to stack the two like a snowman to be dead on at 40 yards or that range your shooting at.. you must first decide on a typical load your gun likes in that gun for what your going to use it for. then have the bead put in just in front of the tape by a smith or friend.. then screw bead up or down to fine tune it.. i file it of it needs to be left or right then super glue it when correct.. then you build up the stock with cardboard , tape and wood to fit your cheek exactly to matche the bead dead on.. .. if no rib just start with the stock buildup.. when your done put camo tape from wall mart over the ugly arragnement, and then a bullet holding sock over that.. it will shoot great.. and can be modified for conditions, that is steel shoots differently than lead etc.. half bead up etc.. with practice youl start seeing the clays and feathered freinds fall to your newfound soulmate.. its science, fit, accuracy, and practice all rolled into one to make it come together.. your eye is the rear sight, when its all set up right and you practice skeeet, you can for get the beads and just look at the target and swing and shoot.. or for a long passing shot use the beads to correctly sight on the bird and squeeze.. sound easy? right... good luck dave
