SAM,S G.I. 1911a1 Military in 45acp?? I read its made in the phillipines by the same company who makes the frames for Charles Daly/Rock Iland 45acp too. Does anyone have anymore info or own one of these?  I was looking for another carry gun (used 45acp) and found this new one under $300?    BigBill

The castings or forgeings or whatever are made in Brazil. The guns are machined and assembled in the U.S. of A.
