Need interchangeable choke tubes installed.

I have an older browning citori that I would like to have screw in chokes installed in. I was trying to get a few names and numbers and maybe some pricing. The gun has 30" barrels with a mod / full setup now it is just a little to much for rabbit and grouse. Also a gunsmith in ohio would also be nice or the pa, or wv border.

Any body who is going to do that correctly is going to charge a bit.  The best in the business that I heard of is Briley(located in Texas).   Expect to pay a bit to get a job done correctly and then pattern the results to make sure the chokes are installed correctly in alignment with the bore so that they pattern straight.   Good luck

I can install tubes for you.  I charge $50.00 to thread barrels plus cost of tubes, $18.95 for Colonial Arms tubes. I use Colonail Arms tooling all piloted to you barrel, ie.. .725, .726,.727, etc.  not measured at choke but 3 to 5 inches from muzzle.  I can install standard, thin wall and twenty gauge chokes. These sound revolutionary, you never change the choke, you change the shot to adjust the pattern.  Easier and faster in the field to adjust to conditions

I too have an over, under that I want to add chokes to.  I want to try the Pattern Master choke but want the threading to also accept conventional chokes.

These are choke tubes.  They can be had sized for several different styles of screw in choke tube threading.  Have your gun set up for Remington choke tubes and buy one if you wish...  I personally believe little of what they claim.  They say their tube eliminates shot stringing, BULL.  Stringing is the elongation of the shot charge in flight.  It is caused in part by choking the gun and partially by the differences in the individual pellets of the shot swarm..  Removing the wad earlier in the shot's flight may well be beneficial but will not 'eliminate' stringing..  I always recommend RemChokes as they are so common..  Good luck from the gunnut69
