 Thanks for the reply. So far all the rounds that I have made I have seated about ten thousands off the lands. I was told by T/C that if I seated the bullets according to the specs. that they would do fine in the accuracy department. Now I have always been told that the closer to the lands the better and have found this to be true with my bolt action rifles. The loads that I have already tried have been these:
175 gr. Sierra Boat tail 62.4 grs. Imr 4831, Rem. 9 1/2 primers, Oval 3,320
160 gr. Sierra Boat tail 56.8 grs. Imr 4350, Rem. 9 1/2 primers, Oval 3,278
160 gr. Speer GrandS. 56.8 grs. Imr 4350, Rem. 9 1/2 primers, Oval 3,252
150 gr. Nosler Partition 61.0 grs. Imr 4831, Rem. 9 1/2 primers, Oval 3,295 (most accurate load in Nosler Manual)
150 gr. Nosler Partition 64.0 grs. Imr 4831, Rem. 9 1/2 primers, Oval 3,295
These next 10 rounds I have loaded but haven't shot yet:
175 gr. Sierra Boat tail 62.3 grs. H4831, Rem. 9 1/2 primers, Oval 3,320
(most accurate load according to Sierra Manual)
160 gr. Barnes X bullet 56.8 grs. Imr 4350, Rem. 9 1/2 primers, Oval 3,258.
I made five rounds of each of these cominations. I like to shoot 5 shot groups. Thanks
