A good friend of ours in the Naval Reserve got called up and sent overseas un-expectedly last week.

Please pray for her and all our other men and women in uniform.

Jack, I say a prayer for the men and women in our armed forces every day.  Most folks just don't realize the sacrifices these people make for them every day.  Though, I'll probably start twice a day prayers soon, our youngest starts basic in April.

I agree about people not knowing about the sacrifices. During the last Presidental administration I remember listening to a candidate for Congress saying how the Administration was embarassed by the number of servicemen who were eligible for foodstamps. Their solution? Make it harder for those servicemen to qualify for foodstamps.

God Bless your youngest.
