Well, guys, I finally get my chance. After going nearly crazy hearing everyone's stories of deer hunting for the last month or 2, my season opens tomorrow. I managed to pull an any deer tag this year (whitetail or mulie, buck or doe), and the 7-30 is ready to go. Hopefully I can get a decent buck this year, but I'll be happy with a doe if I don't. I'll give you all an update (and hopefully some pictures) when I get back on Thursday night or Friday.

Good luck flatlander and just enjoy the hunt.
What grain bullet do you use in the 7-30 for mulyies. I have used the 120 gr sp, 140spitzer,and 140 balistic tip for white tail in MN and the deer don't seem to know the difference.

I posted some pics in the gallery including one with dad's deer this year. It is his best to date and was one to be proud of. I'll try posting it here again, but I haven't been able to get the images to work so far.
