hey all, i had the chance to sit in the blind this evening with my 8 year old boy and right at dark 2 does hit the same field that i mmmmiiiisssssed on last week. this time i did not let the handi down. 140 yards double lung she went about 30 yards. dressed 91 lbs not bad for a deer from UCLA (that means upper corner of lower alabama) . this is the third with the handi this season. an 8 pt, a small doe, and this one. i love this rifle. i have talked my dad into getting one now. p.s. i decided to not let my son shoot deer this year but i have been taking him and training him. he got his first squirrell 2 weeks ago and his first dove though so i think i am breaking him in right. i love being in the woods with him. we got a doe with the muzzleloader on the 15th it was our first deer together.

sure shot, sorry for the delay, i have been gone all week, it is the 243 stainless. i have been using the 100 grain coreloks. but would like to try the hollow points to compare blood trails.

I have a 243, use sierra 85 HPBT's with ample dose of IMR 4320.
It has never let me down. :-D That bullet is the only one that has gone
down the barrel. Has always been one shot one kill :-D Marv.
