What the heck..........

For those of you who have not done so, go to this site, http://www.atf.gov/firearms/faq/faq2.htm#b17, scroll down to section M1, and look under "any other weapon".  There you will find H&R Handi Gun.  Are we all in violation of the law?  Man, there are some things out there that scare me.

That is such B.S. It really scary to think about what this country is coming to. It's getting to where you have register any weapon you own no matter what type it is.

Make sure you read part M7 & M8

Some people just need to wise up. They all are a bunch of dumbasses if you ask me.

Donaldo & Varminter, not to worry, that "Handi-gun" they speak of is not a Handi-Rifle. It is and old gun no longer produced. It is in fact in theory and practice what several here have spoke of, a single shot tip-up pistol style shotgun (could be made in a rifle caliber also, .22 Hornet?). It is a collectors item now and if you picture a Hnadu made into a pistol thats what it looks like. Do a google search for Handi gun and you should find threads about them with pictures and some interesting facts....Attn Donaldo - this is some of what I spoke of, interesting facts in the threads about the gun and it's (il)legality....<><....

the handi gun isnt a handi rifle it was a shotgun pistol that had barrels of 12" 10" and so on. they are illegal because they are smooth bore shotguns with barrels under 18" that is why they are on thier page

You mean that clumsey looking thing.  Key-rap.  What is this world coming to.  That must be some kind of A-rab assult weapon.  Looks like what my granpappy used to keep around the house to get rid of the skunks.  Manalive, with what all is available out there this is the kind of stuff they are worried about.  No wonder they were able to fly to planes into the Trade Center. Sheeze.................

Dobaldo, no PM at this end. Also those Handi guns are old, have not been made for many yeras. IThosae and the "Auto burglar" were great home defense weapons but someone thought they were to good and that they may have been dangerous, so they got the ax....<><....
