As far as sighting in. When starting on new rifle scope combo, I use 50yds to get it on paper NEAR the bull then go back to 100.
I'd venture a guess that the Win 45gr loads should be about 1.2" high at 100 to be on at 200, maybe 1.1" high. These suckers shoot flat. That should be a dead on aim to 250yds on a target the size of a coyote.
Usually it will take 200-300 rounds before these guns start shooting their best so be patient. Mine was only about 150, but my sons took closer to 400. Now it will shoot sub MOA with 3 shot groups with the Win value pak all day long.
Don't know about the Black hills stuff, but as long as it's not LOADED to NATO specs yous hould be OK.
