LV looks like a fine rifle: but I wouldn't buy one just to get the action which is about all you'll end up using. I figure the best bet is patience and pawn shops!! find a beater all you're needing is the action anyway and who knows you may luck into an old ugly stock that nobody wants that just handles great ofhand (cause it was built for hunter back before the last two rule shifts, seen it happen). I think the mass movement in those upgrading today is in the fiberglass stocks, alowing what is essentially a STD weight barrel and still making 9lbs. That's another thought , one gun both classes, strategy does have merit as all practice is with one gun.
