I shot my new Remington 11-87 Premier 20 gauge this weekend! It's nice, it has a 26 inch vent rib barrel with the Remchoke system! I wasn't sure if I wanted an 1100 (2 3/4") or 11-87 (2 3/4" and 3") 20 ga. or the 1100 16 ga. (2 3/4"). All three are pretty close in weight with the 11-87 20 ga. being the lightest at 6 3/4 lbs. I would order my ammo for the 16 ga. so It wouldn't be a big deal as far as ammo go's. There is enough ammo available for the 16 ga. for what I will use it for. But I decided on the 11-87 20 ga. in stead. I can use the 2 3/4" shells for most of my hunting or 3" shells if I need to!
