I christened the BC on Saturday. I bought it last January, and this was it's first hunt. It anchored a large doe using the 350gr. Hornady bullets. She was walking briskly through some very heavy brush. At 45 yards downhill, I could hardly make her out it was so thick. I caught her high in the right shoulder, and it angled through and exited low on the left side of her neck. It then proceeded to tear through a four inch tree, and was never seen agian. LOL! What a rifle! What a caliber!

Thanks guys. It was the 350 gr. RNSP, and I don't have the load data in front of me, but I know I used Varget.
Don

Update, I did it the lazy way, I checked an old post, and it was 58.0 gr. of Varget.
BTW: I marinated the inside backstraps Saturday evening, and the family had a great Sunday dinner on them.

I'm hoping for a repeat. I'm taking off Wednesday off to go hunting again. I found a great spot, at the Southern end of the Pocono Mts., that other hunters either don't know about, or aren't crazy enough to go in there. LOL  It's quite a long walk into the woods, and the trees,  mountain laurel, and other brush are so thick you almost have to crawl in. I imagine that's exactly why the deer are there. My son and I saw several herds go through, and in some cases, just heard them go through. I can still get a buck, so I'm hoping Wednesday gives me that chance, so wish me luck.
