Anybody use them, own them, thought about owning them? I thought about it...but I regret to say I think there are better muzzleloaders out there  :( .

I don't have any personal experience with them, as I prefer traditional muzzleloading rifles. However, a friend of mine who is a competitive target shooter has one and loves it. He says it is quite accurate and very well made. If I were going to get a modern BP rifle, the Remington would probably be my choice.

Yes there may be better choices but I am very happy with mine.  I shoot pellets and saboted bullets.  Only thing I changed was the sights...I put a Williams peep sight set up on it because at the time NY didn't allow scopes.  Not sure if they changed that yet.  With the peep sight I get a pretty decent group at a hundred yards within a paper plate.  Another plus is I shoot a 700 rifle in 308 so the "feel" of the muzzle loader is comfortable to me.

I have one and love it.My buddy has one and he has taken about ten deer so far to date.I have shot some paper targets with mine and I am happy with the gun.Here is a picture of my friends 6 pointer from this year.

Well done, well done. Nice deer (mebe even a nicer gun next to it :wink: ). I meant by "better ones out there" I was referring to T/C's (Omega preferrably)...but those are for those with the Franklins  :roll:  :D

One thing I forgot to tell you all was that Bass Pro has the Remington Muzzleloader in the 45 Cal for $199.00 on sale right now.

Hi i have had 2 Remington the first  one was a Rem 700 SS black sy. stock with a 24 inch barrel and i sold it ONLY to get a 26 inch barrel plus i got a great deal on the new one some spe. order from the gun store and didnt take it so they let me have it what the blue barrel 24 inch barrels was saling for i have a Nikon 3x9x40mm on it my other one i have killed deer out to 160 yrds with it i like the way they shoot i have had 2 knights before i bought a Remington and i sold both and got a Remington and i am happy with the Rem ones my dad and brother both has the same Rem 700 ML 50 cal too my brother had a Knight rifle and after he shot my dad's Remington he sold has Knight to his friend and went and bought  him a Remington  so we all 3 shoot Remington's and are very happy with the way they shoot  VM
