Maine Black bear hunting ?

Does anyone know what are the results,if any, with the laws pertaining to Maine bear hunting?I heard that there was a petition going against baiting and dogs and only fair chase would be alowed.I've been to Maine's web site but can't find any results.

None of it passed.  Bait and dogs still legal.  It was in all the hunting mags plus NRA and NAHC.
