Well you have to admit it as a excuse it is origional
Did you look for traces of camel hair on the barrel
It does make you wonder what the long barrel was for since all the armies went from long to shorter barrels long ago. If you or anyone else finds a better reason please post I am interested about that now. By the way since it was supposidly a training rifle what was it going for? Jim
