After work my buddy talked me into going for a hunt this afternoon. We got into the woods just in time for the rain to start falling. I didn't think we would see anything moving but as we worked our way through the thick undergrowth we kicked up three deer I stop one of them with a bleat and I took a neck shot at about 30 yrds she hit the ground and never moved. This Remington Buck Hammers hit like a ton of bricks. Well four down and we still have a muzzle loader season and a short firearm season left to go. If I get one more I'll set a season record for myself. This deer was taken with with a my Charles Daly Maxi Mag. This gun shoots slugs very nice. May not be as accurate as my Trackers but I have three shots and I can hit a pie plate at 50 yrds with it. So I feel good hunting with it. I'm going out in the morning and I will let my buddy take any shots that come up.
