Ordered a Mortar and I need.....

Hello all,

I ordered a "British Grenade Mortar" bronze barrel/tube from Cannon LTD. back in Oct. It is being shipped tomorrow. I need an idea what the proper "bed" it belongs in. Anyone here have any plans or ideas? I don't even know what the barrel looks like  :grin:  I purchased it sight unseen. The length is 7 1/2" and has a 2 1/2" bore and weighs 15 lbs.

any ideas?

I forgot to mention.... I told "Susan" at Cannon LTD  about this website and forum she said she would "check it out"
