You got to be kidding right?
?? You would have a snowball chance in H*** getting anything. They fixed the problem, get over it and move on. Had they not, then I could see your frustration. I understand it came at a bad time and I would be upset also. If you don't want your Ruger's sell them and be done with it.

not at all. i have 6 different examples of super blackhawks that broke in this fashion, three of which i bought. after what i have been through, i dont trust these guns to work when i need them. and i aint talking some frivolous,b.s., 'i looking for some easy money' scheme; all i would want is for them to buy back those guns for what i have into them.
now the reason i havent gone that route, is that i dont want to be an excuse for the wrong kind of thing to happen here. we all know that this could easily happen. and i would rather eat the price of those guns than contribute anything to the "dark side".
the fact that ruger did fix the guns speaks to their favor, but they should have. one gal at ruger acted like i should be glad they were not going to charge me. :evil: that didnt sit well. and i had a talk with her about why it is she should be bending over backwards to see i was treated right. as it stands, here is a list of guns that
were on the list of guns to be added to the collection : single six hunter .22, red label 20 gauge, and a 22 magnum bolt action. plus rifles for my two sons in the coming years. by her getting an attitude for those few precious seconds, combined with the mediocre handling of my other "issues", ruger lost the sale of three guns in the next year alone.
bottom line is that ruger has a problem with their super blackhawks. they surely know it. and while i was taken care of
eventually they still could have done better by a long shot. there were alot of phone calls by me that went unanswered. i would say at least 8 calls where i got nowhere and some folks were supposed to call me back and never did.
no as far as not having a snowballs chance in hell, remember that the courts are quite liberal in my state, and ruger would at least have to be represented there. what would that cost? and what of the bad press? look, i aint one for a easy payday when it isnt something i havent worked for. and i sure as hell wouldnt want to further an agenda i hate. truth is i doubt i ever would, but ruger is dodging a figurative bullet here; someone else might be. ruger just barely satisfied me. there are a lot of things they should address.
hell, all i ever wanted was to enjoy shooting my guns. i used to think they were about perfect and was really disappointed at the whole experience. luckily i wasnt hurt with the first one, and the second one cut me (but it wasnt all that bad). but it could have easily turned out differently. and i hope others are as lucky (or luckier) than i was.
