I was wondering if anyone has any information on the quality of the traditions PA pellet rifle. I am looking to get my father a muzzleloader for next Christmas, and like the anticorosivenesss of the nickel barrel. I have a T/C Firestorm and really like it, but can't afford a second. Any information on this rifle would be appreciatted or on some other good reasonably priced flintlock.

I've heard a few complaints from fellas thet have bought'em. Personaly I would stick with an old "tried and true" design, rather than fall for the "Super lock" and "Removalable breech plug" propaganda.

After years of try'n to "re-invent the wheel", engineer's have came to the conclusion thet "round" is still the best design!! :shock:

For an "inexpensive" muzzleloader thet folks seem to like, check with yore local WalMart sport'n goods manager, and ask him if they have any CVA Bobcats in the "back room"!! :agree:

How many pumps do it take to get a 54 cal prb out the barrel at 1600 fps?

My old pellet gun only worked with them bb's. I'm glad ta see that things have improved!

bought mine, nickel, black stock, fiberoptic sights ,just in time for the last week of pa season, only fired 4 shots but it went off every time using
loose 777 instead of pellets, I think it is a pretty good gun for around 2 hundred, the flints are 3/4 instead of the old 1/2 inch, maybe that is what gives it the shower of sparks, gun didnt come with any flint new, had to buy some black english ones
