Scout Scope
« on: December 18, 2004, 08:08:32 PM »
Got one of those scout scope setups that CDNN sells That is a Picanny rail set up which is nicer I feel than the B Square 3 slotted ones. Cheaper too! Anyway went to the gunshow today with a Springfield 22 semi auto that I bought cheap becuase it had problems. If fired but was a jamomatic and my gunsmith said he would not even work on them as they are basically crap. I paid 20 bucks for it and sold it for 40 at the gun show. I found a Tasco Pro Class 2x22  30mm scope with the illuminated crosshairs for 30 bucks. Found a set of rings for 7 bucks. It cost me 3 bucks to get into the door so that took care of the rest of the 40 bucks. Did not see any thing else I wanted except I would have liked some swede surplus ammo or cheap SP ammo but none was available. Anyway got the scope mounted on my Mod 44 pole and it looks like a good matchup.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.
