Pentax Gameseeker Scopes--Any Tests??

I'm sure you've had several Posts on the Pentax Gameseeker scopes.  I am looking to pick one up.  I held a few up at a gun show and was impressed with the clarity of the optics and the tube felt sturdy but the guy said it was the best bang for the buck in optics. 

I somehow don't trust salesmen so has anyone here had experience with these scopes?  Anyone do any freezer tests, water tests or any type of tests on the Gameseeker scopes?

I was given one and I have now passed it on. It had horrible paralax and it just made my eyes hurt.

I traded some bullets for one and it's working fine.
I'm disappointed that the cross hairs seem a little blurry.  But for a $100 bucks I'm not going to dump it yet.

Adjusting the eye piece should make the X-hair crisp, read How to set Up a Scope at the link below.  ;)

I have one too!!  and I was wondering if it would stand up to a 7mm Rem. Mag??

I have the 4-12x40 on my 7mm rem mag Ruger 77. So far it has had no problems after about 50 rounds.
