That looks pretty familiar,  this is my similar set up...

Stainless GG with xs systems scout mount and ghost ring sights.  Other goodies, WWG bear proof ejector, WWG aluminum magazine follower, and soon to have WWG oversized lever loop and light mount.  They sure are awsome close range big game rifles.

Have you done any reloading for it yet??  I have found that H322 and 405gr rem JSP bullets will shoot amazingly well for me.

Thanks for the comments, I sighted in today with it and shot great.  I put on the williams peep with the front sight spacer which was included and it shot too low.  Pulled the spacer out and I was able to zero around 75 yards with the peep.  It was also great because with the spacer removed I could put the hood back over my front sight.  I'm planning on drilling out some holes in the top of the hood to let the light shine on the fire sight.  After zeroing my peep I put the scope on and zeroed it in as well.  Eventually I'm going to buy quick detachable scope mounts so I can remove the scope in the field if needed.  I put the peep on just as back up in case I do something to my scope while at camp.  I really like this gun, the recoil is much milder than what I expected and I'm very satisfied with my accuracy using a 2X scope.  Thebear_78 I saw your gun and actually decided to follow in your footsteps only a little less expensive.  I used a pistol scope I already had and bought the cheaper Williams peep.  Eventually I will buy a ghost ring setup when I get the funds.  It might be a little while though, I just bought a Kimber so my gun funds depleted quite a bit.

Wild west guns does a similar hood with a cut out for the fire sights.  I think it might be the same hood as on some of the marlin 22 wmr bolt stainless guns with the cut out hood.  You can get a set of QD warne rings for a pretty reasonable price at brownells, excellent rings.    If you don't already reload I have found the 45/70 to be pretty darn easy to load for.  Remington 405gr bullets are dirt cheap, 14 for 100 at midway, and Varget and H322 are pretty versatile powders.  If you get dies be sure to get the lee factory crimp die, its a must have for the heavier 45/70 loads.  One of the nice things about the marlin 1895 is you can keep on upgrading stuff for years to come.  I already have a few more things planned for mine, oversized lever loop, light accessory rail, synthetic stock set, full length magazine tube, and I'm sure the list will continue to grow.     Good luck with that GS.  They sure are awsome guns.

Update!!!!
I got some money from an aunt of mine for christmas so I got the oversize lever loop from WWG.

Bear that loop was next on my list too!  Looks awsome, I'm sure it's going to work a lot better with gloves on than before.

The bear,

Stop it, you guys are killin' me (drool, drool). I've been lookin' at one of these rascals for a couple of months and I'm about ready to float a loan    to get it. These rifles have got to be the "have one or else" rifles of the year! I think I'm finally there,

OSO-

If you get the oversized lever loop from wild west guns it is  a drop in fit but you may need to do a little work to get it to fit snugly in the trigger guard plate.   The trigger guard gap on my guide gun was about .025" larger than the Wild west guns lever.  I used a small fiber (plastic) washer that was 1/4x1/2" and 0.032" thick, I had to sand it down a little to get it to fit snugly without being too snug.  It fits perfectly now though.  Wild west guns will fit them for free I think they squeeze the trigger guard gap to get it to fit.  I'm still keeping an eye out for a teflon washer for it, I think that would work a lot better.     Good luck with yours and I'll keep you posted if I find anyplace that has nice teflon washers.

TheBear,

The SS Guide rifle has been ordered just today. Dealer says about 4-5 days to get here. Next week I will call WWG and order some "things" that will complete the package    . I will probally use factory ammo. to get the empty brass. Any brand that groups best over the others? I have 45/70 dies so it won't be long 'fore I'm reloadin' my own    . Really lookin' forward to it  :-D.

I'm a big fan of the starline brass myself.  I have had really good luck with H322 powder and the 405gr Rem bulk bullets from midway at $12 a hundred.  You can get the WWG accessories from cabelas, brownells and midway for same money as you can get them from WWG and will probably have a shorter turn around time from one of them, and shipping might be cheaper too.  WWG makes good parts and does good work but aren't known for thier customer service, turn around times can be long and one of thier office guys is a real jerk.  I got my parts from them only because I could drive down to thier shop in 10 minutes instead of waiting several days if ordered from cabelas or brownells.  The XS scout scope mount is really nice and easy to install, as is thier ghost ring sights, and they are a little cheaper than the WWG scope mount.  I think that the WWG ghost ring sights might be a little more durable though.
