YES! Great program. I caught the last ten minutes of it in the early evening and had to stay up 'till midnight to watch the whole program.
For those who missed it or don't have access to the History Channel, this is the big annual shoot in WI. Matt Switlick put the thing together some years ago.
Gun classes are: Rifled field gun, smooth bore guns, mountain guns, and mortars. (Did I miss any?) Rifled gun shot at 4X8 sheets of plywood at 1,000 yards.
The second day was the top five guns shoot off. The rifled guns shot at a single sheet of newspaper at 1,000 yards, five shots each. I don't know if I can even see a sheet of newspaper at 1,000 yards.
The top place winner then shot against the Canadian Army team. The results, 3" ordnance rifle 4 hits, LG1 105 mm 0 hits.
Some of the demonstration shots with with canister and bar shot were interesting also. The Canucks eliminated an old station wagon with a few rounds of HE from the LG1.
Worth watching when it runs again.
