Yep, I'm gettin it! I'm outside all day every day, but that aint the same. I wanna SHOOT somethin'!!! Shore be glad ta see Sunday get here!!! Even Saturday, least then I can get everything packed up and ready to go for my 3 am departure Sunday morn!!

Yup looking forward ta meeting you and Holiday in person come Sunday morning. Shore hope my dand base pins stay in place long enough for me to get off five shots before they fall out each time. :eek: Should be a hoot.

Hey Marshal,

Remember all that duct tape you bought in anticipation of a terrorist attack? Just tear off a couple of narrow strips and wrap around each barrel and base pin. Just pullin your leg. Go out there to have fun and learn first hand how the old timers do it. We were all in your shoes at one time, and look at us now. We're all experts. Just ask. In fact, you don't even have to ask some of us. HAVE FUN.

Temp here in the gulf coast section of the Republic is 35 degrees with a 5-10 mph wind from the north. And this is the warmest it is supposed to be today

Guess my plans to do some casting are on hold.

Wal Capt being as how I'm a good southern redneck I'm never short of duct tape and so I didn't have ta run out and buy any. We always keep a supply on hand. Never know when ya'll need it to use as a make shift trailer hitch er in place uv a window shot out er ta hold yer scope on yer rifle gun er such other sich.

I jist might hafta resort to it fer them base pins.
