Female "Mew" Deer Call
« on: January 07, 2005, 06:30:43 AM »
Are there any deer calls that imitate a female "mew" call.  I had one by Haydel and lost it, and now they do now make it anymore.  This call really works well for the CA Mule deer and Blacktails.  One time I had two bucks answering to this call for 10 minutes, one thrashed the shrubs, ad the other kicked rocks down the mountain when I was "mewing".  I would like to get a replacement for this call. 8)

:D E.L.K. INC made some rubber band style calls that made a mew sound. My call is old but it says "Box 85 Gardiner Montana 59030". I've had very good luck with these calls on elk and mule deer.  I hope they are still in business. They work on predators too.
