Depends on case size. In a 454 size case I use around 1.5-2 grains of 700X. Havent dropped much below 1.5 in most of them. You should be able to see the bullet flying out the bbl against the sky. It also helps to hold it upward to keep the powder against the primer. Make sure you have a wooden dowel or a fiberglass rod and hammer to get them unstuck when you stick one.
