Question about a 50mm BSA Red Dot
« on: December 27, 2004, 05:24:32 PM »
Could someone who has one of these look at it to see if the front inner lense is at what appears to be an angle?  The outer lense is straight.

I just got one and if you look at it from the front the ruby colored lense on the inside appears to be mounted at an angle.  I am not sure if this is normal or not.  I bought it used and it is the first red dot I have owned.

At first I thougtht it was like this so the dot would show when projected on it rather than just pass thru but I am not sure...

Thanks in advance for the input...

DonT :-)

DonT, I just looked at mine and the ruby lens is mounted at an angle. Never noticed or looked at it before. The scope works fine.
