not so good a start ?

I posted a start on my new cannon project which is no more at this time than making the axle shaft and a fake pvc barrel to use for scale measurements.  Saw that on buckstix.
     I also posted a photo through Imageshack.   Now when I try to bring this post up to verify or edit it I can't get it back up.  I use dial up and the site times out before I can get it up.  The only thing I can figure is that I must have put photo in to large.  
     If that is the case I appologize to the forum for posting to large a pixel image and will not post any future pics until I learn more about how to correct the size in my dig camera or on the web.  Also, if that is the problem will one of the moderators please delete image or whatever so I am not using up forum space.

I don't think it has anything to do with your dial-up connection. I'm on high speed cable and I can't get it to come up either.

One thing we ask here on the Blackpowder Mortar and Cannon Forum is that you limit the width of your photos to 540 pixels wide at 72 pixels per inch/ 533 pixels wide at 28 pixels per centimeter. Plain talk 7.5 inches/19 centimeters wide . You may have to set the size with your camera or scanner software or you may be able to do it with your photo software.

At the top  of the board we have a sticky on how to post pictures. Take a look at your software and learn how to size images.  Digital photography is fun.
